JAN-15, Tamil fraternity across the world celebrates the start of ‘THAI’ Month in the Tamil calendar as Pongal festival. This festival is also called the Harvesting Festival in Tamil Nadu. Tamil people around the world are celebrating the Pongal festival today. On the eve of the Pongal festival, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the special celebration arranged at Union Minister L. Murugan’s residence in New Delhi.
