Feb-17, India’s top shooter, Manu Baker, won a bronze medal in the women’s 10m air pistol event at the ISSF 10m World Cup in Grenada, Spain, on Friday. In the women’s 10-meter air pistol final, Baker placed third with a total of 215.1 points. Poland’s Bres Claudia (236.2 points) and Mexico’s Ibarra Miranda Andrea Victoria (236.2 points) won the gold and silver medals, respectively.

Another Indian, Rhythm Sangwan, came last in the eight-woman final.
A 34-member Indian delegation will participate in the World Championship. The World Championships will feature only junior and senior 10m air rifle events.
The senior competition started on Friday. India has so far won four gold medals, three silver medals, and three bronze medals in this tournament.
