BJP Chief Nadda’s strong hope To Party Workers!
Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh: BJP president J. P. Nadda exhorted party workers on Wednesday to maintain the momentum generated by his party’s victory in recent assembly polls for three states until Lok Sabha elections early next year.
He said this to party workers in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. As political workers, we all hoped for victories at the hustings, but such chances came up only every now and then. Then winning looked something like capturing a fortress that few had thought could be taken so easily, but under successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership of the BJP.
He claimed the party’s great victory in assembly polls for Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh was due to workers ‘spirit.
Mr. Nadda pointed out that this enthusiasm needs to be sustained through the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
He went on to say that the sense of momentum generated after a successful foray into assembly polls must not be allowed to languish.
Mr. Nadda also spoke of arrangements being made to observe Good Governance Day on December 25, the birth anniversary of a former prime minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
He said that this scheme should not be just a formality but rather an opportunity to let the public know about the changes that have been wrought by the central and state governments.
As well, Mr. Nadda urged every BJP worker to visit a gurdwara on Veer Bal Diwas (on December 26) and pay tribute to the sacrifice of Sikhs.
He noted that the party’s selection of new chief ministers in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh gives out a message to all BJP workers that one day you yourself can be CM. He said, “Our path is sound; therefore, we win.”
