JAN-27, In a major development, the Bharatiya Janata Party appoints election incharges for states and union territories for the upcoming Lok sabha Elections. The ruling party announced Vinod Tawde in Bihar, Laxmikant Vajpayee in Jharkhand and Viplav Kumar Deb in Haryana.
Baijayant Panda becomes the new in-charge of Uttar Pradesh state. Y Satya Kumar for Andaman and Nicobar, Radha Mohan Das Agarwal for karnataka, Arvind Menon for Tamil Nadu, Nirmal Kumar Surana for Puducherry.
