Feb-4, Siddharth Anand’s “The Fighter” received a huge boost at the domestic box office on Saturday after weeks of positive response. The aerial action film, starring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor as Indian Air Force officers, grossed an estimated Rs 10.5 crore in its 10th day of release in India, according to reports. The fighter had collected a net amount of Rs 5.75 crore on day 9, and now its net profit in India is around Rs 162.75 crore. After opening with his first Friday on January 25 with Rs 22.5 crores, the fighter recorded his highest single-day collection in India at Rs 39.5 crores net. After that, the fighter earned Rs 27.5 crores on Saturday, Rs 29 crores on Sunday, Rs 8 crores on Monday, Rs 7.5 crores on Tuesday, Rs 6.5 crores on Wednesday, and Rs 6 crores on Thursday.
Fighter starring Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania (Hrithik Roshan), Squadron Leader Minal Rathore (Deepika Padukone), Group Captain Rakesh Jay Singh (Anil Kapoor), and the Indian Air Force (IAF). The other members of the elite Air Dragon squad do their best. The film was shot primarily at Indian Air force bases using real Indian Sukhoi fighter jets. Apart from Deepika, Hrithik, and Anil, Fighter also stars Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi.
Fighter is Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan’s first collaboration. Hrithik Roshan and Siddharth Anand have worked together on projects like ‘Bang Bang’ (2014) and the 2019 action film ‘War’.
