Feb-18, Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a brilliant double century and Ravindra Jadeja took 5/41 as India defeated England by 434 runs, the biggest victory in the history of the Rajkot Test in four days. England were forced to chase 557, with Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav through the batting order, and were bowled out for 114, their sixth lowest Test score against India.

Jaiswal sets the tone for India’s total of 430/4 with his second consecutive Test double. Jaiswal, who was forced to retire due to injury after scoring 104 on Saturday. Jaiswal returned to bat due to the fall of the wicket of Shubman Gill. The debutant Sarfaraz khan continued to bat on his own, remaining unbeaten with 68 off 72 balls, six fours and three sixes, but the day was clearly Jaiswal’s, unbeaten with 214 off 236 balls.

Chasing a big target, Centurion Ben Duckett was sent off for 4 runs in the 2 nd innings, and the writing was on the wall. Ollie Pope and Jonny Bairstow also out for quickly. while Zak Crawley continued to battle Jasprit Burmah and dismissed for 11 runs. In pursuit of a formidable target, England endured an astonishing collapse with only two of their top six batsmen in double figures, Zak Crawley (11) and Stokes (15). India needed less than 40 overs to beat England and take a 2-1 lead.
