On Wednesday, he held a roadshow and offered prayers at the Arulmigu Koniaman temple before he filed his candidacy for the next parliamentary elections. Coimbatore south MLA and Party’s Nation Mahila Morcha President Vanati Srinivasan was also present along with Annamalai.
On Tuesday, the Tamil Nadu state BJP president attended a meeting of assembly constituency officials led by Karur constituency candidate Senthilnathan on behalf of the Karur district BJP.
During the event, Mr. Annamalai criticized the incumbent Karur Assembly member Jyotimani.
“We need MPs who are here 365 days a year and do what the Prime Minister says. So, I want Senthilnathan to be given responsibility as a member of parliament,” he added.
